Sie verbindet die Altstadt mit dem Bahnhofsviertel. Die Adolphe-Brücke wurde in den Jahren 1899 bis 1903 während der Herrschaft Großherzogs Adolphes nach Plänen des französischen Ingenieurs Paul Sjourn errichtet. Sie war zum Zeitpunkt ihrer Errichtung die größte Steinbogenbrücke der Welt. Allein die zwei Mittelbögen bestehen aus 2850 m Gilsdorfer Sandstein. Der große Doppelbogen hat eine Spannweite von 84,55 m und überquert das Petruss-Tal in einer Höhe von 42 m. Die Gesamtlänge der Brücke beträgt 153 m. Die beiden kleineren Nebenbögen haben eine Spannweite von 21,60 m. Die Konstruktion aus zwei parallelen Bögen ermöglicht eine Straßenbreite von 16 m.
