Schloß Broich

Broich Castle After the Vikings had conquered the city of Duisburg in 883, Duke Heinrich had this complex built. In 884 Henry drove out the Vikings. After that the castle fell into disrepair. Towards the end of the 11th century it was rebuilt by the Lords of Broich. Today owned by the city of Mühlheim. Used for civil weddings and city receptions.
