Bad Durkheim. Spa town, largest barrel in the world, sausage market on the 2nd and 3rd weekend in September (largest wine festival in the world). Viticulture: many winegrowers with ostrich farms, estate taverns. The wines from various winegrowers in the region can be tasted and bought in the Wein-Dom (at the Dürkheimer Fass).
