Görlitz, Georgsbrunnen
Sight / Fountain
The so-called ´Georgsbrunnen´ at the eastern end of the Obermarkt actually adorns the figure of a Görlitz town servant from the 16th century. For neither does the ´knight´ point the lance at a dragon, but carries it erected, nor is there a dragon at all. Instead, a Bohemian lion sticks its tongue out at passers-by.
