Sight / building
The town hall in Büsum is a two-story baroque-style building made of brick. It was built by C. Mannhardt from Kile between 1914 and 1915 and still serves as the administrative headquarters for a total of 18 associated municipalities .
The building is a listed building and has neo-baroque shapes made of red brick. The front is characterized by a wide, semicircular central gable, in the center of which is depicted Saint Clement with the anchor, the patron saint of the Büsum parish. A relief of Clement of Rome can be seen between the dates of construction, 1914 and 1915.
The town hall is located not far from the pedestrian zone and is a representative sight. Although it is not an official building in the strictest sense, it houses the municipality´s most important authorities and serves as the administrative headquarters.
