Bürgerpark
Park / City Park
The Bürgerpark was laid out as a public park from 1886 according to plans by the garden architect Kreiss. Today the complex covers 42 hectares. The park is rich in native and foreign trees, has an extensive system of paths and romantic ponds, allotment gardens, a children´s playground and, as a national sports and event centre, the BTHC tennis court and the Volkswagen Hall.
