Albertina

The Albertina is an art museum in Vienna´s 1st district, the Inner City. Among other things, it houses one of the most important graphic collections in the world. The museum shows a variety of exhibitions, including modern art, and is a partner of the Long Night of Museums, which takes place annually in October throughout Austria) [[6]].
The Albertina houses the State Rooms of the largest Habsburg residential palace, which were once inhabited by Empress Maria Theresa´s favorite daughter, Archduchess Marie-Christine, and later by her adopted son, Archduke Karl. The State Rooms, some of which are equipped with original furniture, take visitors back to the times of their residents. The entire gilding of the carvings with the special alloy !Albertina Gold! and the ornate parquet floors with rose and ebony inlays are worth a look.
The museum also offers a variety of attractions in its area, including restaurants, hotels and other points of interest. The Albertina is also a popular wedding location in Vienna and offers various offers, including the possibility of visiting an exhibition as part of a wedding package.
The Albertina is known for its extensive collection of graphic works and regularly hosts exhibitions by artists ranging from Monet to Picasso. The museum is also known for its modern art exhibitions and is considered the largest modern art museum in Central Europe.
