This water supply for the Hohenlohe-Schillingsfürst Castle was built in 1702. It was driven by ox power and consists of three piston pumps that deliver around 40 liters per minute. water into the elevated tank. The water then flowed to the castle through a wooden water pipe. In the fountain keeper´s house there are exhibits showing rural life in the late 19th century. Opening hours beginning of April to the end of October: Tuesday - Friday 9.30am - 12.00pm and 2.30pm - 5.00pm Sat, Sun 1.00pm - 6.00pm
