GFA Tropenhausaquarium im Botanischen Garten

The GFA Tropical House Aquarium in the Botanical Garden in Marxloh, Germany, is an attraction worth seeing. It was developed by the Society for Aquarium Science. V. (GFA) and is one of the most beautiful and species-rich freshwater facilities in Germany. The aquarium has a total of 53 aquariums with a total water volume of over 25,000 liters of water. Of these, 11 large aquariums and the newly installed tropical pond are accessible all day during the botanical garden´s opening hours.
The GFA has invested a lot in the redesign and theme of the 11 show tanks to make the aquarium even more attractive for visitors. It also enjoys a good reputation internationally among connoisseurs. The Society for Aquarium Science maintains the display aquariums in the Botanical Garden on a voluntary basis. In addition to the aquariums, there are also various breeding and rearing tanks as well as regular aquarist meetings
