Wanderung zum Solbjørnvatnet und auf den Tekoppstetten
Tour / hiking / bike / ski / Hiking
Solbjørnvatnet – also known as Sun Bear Lake – is a 5.1 km² lake in the middle of the Lofoten island of Moskenesøya, whose outflow is used to generate electricity at the Solbjørn power plant. If you want to escape the hustle and bustle of Lofoten for half a day, you are in good hands at this lake. Surrounded by high mountains all around, you will find lonely peace here. The Trekoppstetten (365 m) towering on its north bank is well suited for an ascent. It offers a magnificent view of Sundstraumen and the island of Flakstadøya beyond. You can reach Solbjørnvatnet in about 30 minutes without much effort. Hiking gear is not required. For the ascent of the Tekoppstetten you should not do without sturdy shoes and plan about 3 hours for the whole tour. «br»
