Pilgerweg Seßlach-Vierzehnheiligen

As early as the 15th century, large groups made pilgrimages to ask the 14 Holy Helpers for their protection. Pilgrimages to the Fourteen Saints Monastery near Staffelstein still take place today. In Franconian there are two significant ways. 1. From Sesslach to Fourteen Saints. With a length of 21 km, it leads past twelve sculptures. 2. From Untermerzbach to Vierzehnheiligen. With a length of 17 km, it leads past nine sculptures. Both paths have in common the wonderful view of the Main Valley. The sculptures are:
