Keukenhof? This is where spring comes to bloom. The park is unique, world-famous and has been one of the most popular tourist destinations in the Netherlands for the last sixty years.
Keukenhof not seen? Then you haven´t seen the Netherlands! Nowhere else will you find so many colors and scents as here, where more than seven million flowers form a magnificent backdrop for your photos. Come to Keukenhof and enjoy the overwhelming spring feeling, the grandiose art objects, the surprising inspirational gardens and numerous flower shows.
By boat around Keukenhof For years you have been able to explore the onion fields around Keukenhof by bike, but now also in the so-called whisper boats. These boats are powered by an electric motor, are environmentally friendly and move almost silently through the beautiful landscape of the Netherlands. These boats are particularly suited to navigating the often shallow ditches. They are boats that used to be used by gardeners, breeders and farmers for various jobs. The tour lasts about 50 to 75 minutes and you are guaranteed to take beautiful photos. The price is €7.50 p.p. P. (excl. entry to Keukenhof)
Opening hours: March 22 to May 20, 2012 daily from 8:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. (ticket office closes at 6:00 p.m.). Also on Sundays and public holidays.
The Keukenhof is located between Amsterdam and The Hague in the Bollenstreek. The route to Keukenhof is clearly signposted from the motorway and major roads. Around the park, clear signs direct you to the two parking lots. The Keukenhof has its own parking facilities for cars. The parking fee is € 6.00.
