Grimming is a mountain in the Dachstein Mountains in Styria, Austria. With a height of 2351m, it is one of the most free-standing peaks in the entire Alpine region. The mountain is known for its solitary location and its striking appearance in the Ennstal. There are various ascent routes including the North Climb and the Southeast Ridge. The climb requires good fitness and can be exposed and fragile in places. The Grimming is a popular destination for hikers and mountaineers who are looking for a challenge and impressive views.
